How to activate EnergyID Premium?

With EnergieID Premium, you get access to extensive analyses, dashboards, and extra features to track your energy consumption in detail. In this article, you can read how to activate these features for your record.

Premium through an organization or service provider

The new way to get access to Premium is through an organization you are affiliated with, such as your energy cooperative, energy supplier, or installer. These organizations make EnergieID Premium available to their customers or members.

By linking your record once to such an organization, you gain access to all Premium features and often unlock specific extras, such as a collective electricity planner, ready-made dashboards, or up-to-date tariff information.

How do I activate my Premium access?

To start the link, use the activation link you received from your service provider, for example by email or via their own customer portal.

  1. Click the activation link you received.
  2. Do you already have an EnergieID account? Choose Log in. Are you new? Click Create your EnergieID account.
  3. Enter the received activation code and click the green arrow to continue.
  4. Choose the record for which you want to activate EnergieID Premium and the extra features. Do you not have a record yet? Then click Create new record and complete the short wizard.
  5. You will now see an overview of the access rights the organization requests. Click Accept to complete the link. Your extra features are now immediately available.

Your extra features are now immediately available, and Premium remains active as long as your record is linked.

Secure data sharing

At EnergieID, your privacy is central. When you activate a link, this happens according to strict rules:

  • Only what is needed: The organization only gets access to the data necessary for their service delivery (such as EAN codes or meter readings). They use this under their own privacy policy and the applicable processing agreement.
  • Full control: You can see exactly which permissions you grant in advance, and you can stop the link yourself at any time.

Stopping a link

You always keep full control over your data. Do you want to end the link with an organization?

  1. In your record, go to Settings and choose Linked services.
  2. Select the organization you want to unlink.
  3. Click Disconnect link.
Immediate termination

The services offered by the organization are stopped immediately, and all permissions granted to your record are revoked. From that moment on, the organization no longer has access to your record data.

Other situations

Individual Premium subscription

It is not possible for individual private users to independently purchase a Premium subscription. EnergieID focuses on collaborations with organizations that make Premium available to their users.

Are you a member of a group?

If you currently already have Premium access because you are a member of a classic EnergieID group, nothing changes for now. Over the coming months, we will renew the underlying technology of these groups. You keep your Premium features and do not need to take any action yourself.
