Login with an external login service

Linking your EnergyID account to an external login service such as Ecopower or Proximus can simplify the login process, especially when redirected to EnergyID from these external apps.

Here's how you can do it:

• Go to the EnergyID login page.
• Select More ways to log in.
• Choose your desired external login service, such as Ecopower or Proximus.
• You will be automatically redirected to the login screen of the external service. If you're already logged into the external service, EnergyID will immediately receive your name and email address.
• Confirm whether you are known in EnergyID.
  • If your email address is already known in EnergyID, enter your EnergyID password to complete the link.
  • If you don't have an EnergyID account yet, confirm your name and agree to the terms and conditions of EnergyID to create a new EnergyID account.
  • If you already have an EnergyID account but the email address doesn't match, click Login at the bottom to proceed.
• Done! Your EnergyID account is now linked to the external login service.

What if I can no longer log in via the external service?

It can happen that an external login service is no longer supported. Since you probably haven't set an EnergyID password yet in that case, you'll need to do this first in order to keep logging in.

Can you still log in via the external service?
Set a password right away via Profile > Settings > Security section > Set password. This way, you won't have to wait until you no longer have access.

Can you no longer log in via the external service?
Request a new password via Forgot password on the login screen. You'll receive a reset link by email to set a password. More details can be found in Resetting a forgotten password.

Once you've set a password, you can log in to EnergyID with your email address and that password.
