What is a COFY Cloud?

A COFY Cloud gives your organization its own environment alongside EnergyID, where you can manage your own data and logic. This lets you connect organization-specific information to your Workspace in a standardized way, without putting that logic into the general platform itself.

What is a COFY Cloud?

COFY stands for Community Flexibility. A COFY Cloud is a separate environment assigned to your organization. In that environment, you can manage your own data, integrations and business logic.

You can think of a COFY Cloud as a bridge between your own systems and EnergyID. Everything that is specific to your organization can live there, while EnergyID only uses what is made available through a clear connection.

Tip: Do you already have a COFY Cloud? Then you can connect it in EnergyID via COFY services.

When is it useful?

A COFY Cloud is especially useful when your organization works with its own data, rules or processes that are not part of standard EnergyID. Some examples:

• Your own signals: you decide when it is a good time to consume energy or reduce demand, for example based on local production or your own tariff structure.
• Member or contract data: information from your CRM, accounting package or other internal systems can be made available to EnergyID.
• Your own calculation rules: calculations or decisions that are specific to your organization remain managed in your own environment.

The main advantage is that your organization stays in control of its own data and logic, while EnergyID only uses what is needed through a standardized API.

Set it up yourself

Once your COFY Cloud is running, you can connect it in EnergyID via COFY services.
